Hi all, heres some info on the weapons and equipment of the era. Also someone said that there weren't many female operatives in SOE, so please check the below links. During the Second World War the SOE sent 470 agents into France including 39 women.

In many cases the main equipment issue and training provided would have simply been with the Radio, disguised in a simple suitcase.
Weapons which may have been issued would of course include the Sten 9mm SMGun, and side-arms may have been the Enfield or Webley .38 revolver or the Browning 9mm automatic. The Browning was issued only to specialist units while the revolvers would have been more the standard Officer sidearm.

Here is some information on the activities of female SOE operatives in
occupied France, in particular Andree Borrel, what they endured and how they died.

Here also is an interesting Bio of 'Leo Marks', SOE's Head of Cryptography and a summary of the techniques used to get information out of Occupied France from SOE Agents. Theres plenty of links there
for more background reading.

In addition here is plenty of information on the French Resistance with whom SOE Operatives worked closely.

Interesting stuff!! I take it that we are creating the characters on Thursday then? And all this info is to allow us to get an idea of what we want to be???

Well, most folks have already started on creating the characters. If you can have a look through the Talents and Extras lists and have a thought as to what sort of thing you'd like and let me know, I can either get a character drawn up for you or work out the cost per level.
